Our client, a mid-sized banking institution based in Houston, has an opening for a Portfolio Manager. This position offers tremendous growth potential in a growing banking institution with multiple promotional opportunities and advancement potential. Performance bonuses are also included.

This position is located in the Stafford, TX location of the bank and is a 100% in office role.

This role will be supporting 4 Commercial Lenders and working with 3 Lending Assistants, so will be working with a good sized team. This position will be the second point of contact for existing customers; first point of contact on loan underwriting and routine reporting related matters for existing customers. Will be attending sales calls with lenders, managing credit risk, working with clients to obtain documentation and help during loan underwriting, risk mitigation, annual reviews of client relationships, analyze trends within loan and deposit portfolios, order appraisals, monitor past dues and exceptions, monitoring financial spreads, and reviewing overall credit package.

Requirements:

Candidates MUST have 4+ years of experience at a BANK as either a PORTFOLIO MANAGER, RELATIONSHIP MANAGER, OR SENIOR CREDIT ANALYST handling mostly commercial/C&I loans. If you do not meet this minimum qualification, you will not be considered.

BBA in Accounting, Finance, or similar degree required.

Salary $89K - 105K + bonus, based upon experience.
